Fredericksburg Winter Restaurant Week began Friday, Jan.

16 and will run until Sunday, Jan. 25 in Fredericksburg. The event offers price-friendly menus from local restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries and food spots with first time participants and a new digital passport on the Visit Fredericksburg app.

Stafford County leaders are expected to approve incentive agreements that will return up to $500K in meals tax revenue to Olive Garden & LongHorn for new locations in the county.

Fredericksburg Regional Transit (FXBGO!) announced that larger buses will join its fleet soon to better serve more riders.

Officials said the expansion is part of ongoing improvements in local transit service.
