- ➤ Centennial Broadcasting completed its purchase of local radio stations WGRQ-FM and WGRX-FM from Telemedia Broadcasting Inc. It now owns four stations and will have Mark Bass manage the group — replacing retiring general manager Tom Cooper — while the new acquisitions broadcast from Spotsylvania until they move to the south Stafford facility.
