- ➤ Stafford County Public Schools has adjusted its 2025-2026 calendar for the April 21 special election so that 22 local schools can serve as polling places; Friday, March 13 is now a regular school day while April 21 becomes a staff work day with no classes (as noted by Superintendent Smith). - ➤ Legislators are close to finishing bills that allow tenants to use balcony solar panels to lower power bills. The House bill sits on Gov. - ➤ Chief Warrant Officer Three Robert M. Marzan from Spotsylvania County died in action in Kuwait on March 1 while supporting Operation Epic Fury.
