- ➤ Today, Monday, March 24, 2025, the Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Military Park begins repaving the Chatham parking lot and repairing road surfaces—Chatham will be closed to vehicles for about two weeks. Starting April 21, all park roads except Lee Drive will be rehabilitated with paving work that will keep some sections unsuitable for bicyclists for at least three months. Fredericksburg Free Press
