- ➤ A Stafford County Sheriff’s deputy was injured at 6:15 a.m. on I-95 near the Warrenton Road exit when an unidentified vehicle struck him while he was on his department motorcycle — police are asking anyone who saw the crash to come forward. Potomac Local News

- ➤ Former area law enforcement officer Brian Freeman will speak at FailSafe-Era's Second Chance Gala on April 4 — his talk will focus on the power of a second chance, and tickets are available until today. Fredericksburg Free Press

- ➤ Fredericksburg City Council approved a shared-use agreement with public schools that lets the Parks, Recreation, and Events Department open school gymnasiums for children, teens and families.
