- ➤ Rappahannock Adult Activities (RAAI) is hosting its annual plant sale at 750 Kings Highway in Stafford beginning Friday at 10 a.m. Proceeds fund programs to teach job skills to adults with disabilities, with sales running weekdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon. - ➤ Stafford education backers urged supervisors at Tuesday night’s public hearing to fully fund schools as the county seeks a $18.6 million boost to support three new schools + better staff pay and benefits. - ➤ Mountain View High School senior Roane Furlong asked the Stafford County Board of Supervisors to keep teacher positions unchanged amid low enrollment in some programs in the fiscal 2027 budget. The student stressed the importance of preserving essential educational services. The Free Lance–Star
