- ➤ Caledon State Park in King George will host the combined Bark in the Park and Easter Egg Hunt on April 12 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.—attendees can join a scavenger hunt, wagon rides, a photo with the Easter Bunny, food trucks, vendors, and dog activities including an agility course and working dog demonstrations. - ➤ Three young men died and four others (including three minors) face charges for malicious wounding, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and unlawful assembly after a shooting tied to an illegal gun sale and robbery took place on April 8th near Fredericksburg; one teen injured will be arrested after hospital discharge, and schools operated on a two-hour delay on April 9th. - ➤ Southbound I-95's ramp from Exit 126 to Route 1 will be closed tonight from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. Friday for paving as part of a VDOT project adding a second right-turn lane and other improvements scheduled to finish by August. Motorists are advised to use Exit 130 in Fredericksburg or Exit 118 in Spotsylvania County — if inclement weather cancels the closure, it will be rescheduled to 11 p.m. Sunday to 4 a.m. Monday.
