The event highlighted academic achievement and community engagement.

New state funding will help local groups expand housing support for roughly 200 residents facing homelessness nightly as efforts focus on stabilizing housing for families and children in our area.

UMW men's basketball players enjoyed a 45-minute trolley ride through downtown yesterday in honor of their historic national championship win, which ended at the Anderson Center where Mayor Kerry Devine praised the team and MVP Kye Robinson.
