- ➤ Stafford County plans a new freestanding HCA emergency room on U.S. 17 that will create 44 permanent jobs and add up to $500k in annual tax revenue, with construction to begin early next year and opening by 2028. Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center also announced a $16.2M ER expansion. Fredericksburg Free Press

- ➤ Stafford County native Elijah Sarratt was drafted 115th overall by the Baltimore Ravens Saturday afternoon after a standout season with Indiana University—where he earned second-team all-Big Ten honors.
