EDUCATION NEWS

  • UMW celebrated its 115th Commencement as nearly 1,000 students earned undergraduate and graduate degrees and heard messages on leadership, service and community.  The Free Lance–Star

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Area road work will affect traffic on I-95 southbound, Fredericksburg Route 1 and other local roads starting today and continuing this week. Crews will perform milling, paving and bridge and guardrail repairs with lane closures during off-peak hours — expect scheduled delays.  Fredericksburg Free Press
