  • Old Dominion Humane Society in Fredericksburg will mark National Rescue Dog Day on May 20 by urging residents to adopt, foster, volunteer, and donate to support its work in rescuing and healing dogs. The nonprofit will host adoption events on selected days at its Lafayette Boulevard facility and has rehomed over 8,000 dogs since 2013.  Potomac Local News
