- ➤ Fredericksburg will hold Fourth in Fredericksburg on July 4 with a professional fireworks display at about 9:00 p.m. and street closures from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. will affect 600—800 blocks of Sophia Street, the 100 block of Hanover Street, and the 100 block of Charlotte Street while City parks will not allow personal fireworks due to hot, dry weather. - ➤ Virginia Department of Elections announced Monday that it will slash voter data costs by 90% starting next month, reducing a $6,000 fee to $600 for a full list.
