- ➤ Fredericksburg and Stafford will mark Independence Day on Friday, July 4 with events featuring historical tours, colonial games and live music at Ferry Farm from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, a dinner and fireworks viewing at Mason Dixon Cafe from 7:00 to 8:00 PM with fireworks around 9:15 PM, and a fireworks display at Virginia Credit Union Stadium at 9:00 PM. Stafford will offer free trolley rides linking several venues and a park finale at Pratt Park that will require planning due to limited parking — each event promises family-friendly fun with set time slots and ticket limits.
