  • Stafford County will host the Go for Bo 5K and One Mile Fun Run on Saturday, September 13 at Stafford Regional Airport where a new USATF certified course runs along the runway. Hosted by Ebenezer Church, the event will support families in Bo, Sierra Leone—participants must register by August 23 and pick up race packets in Fredericksburg and Stafford.  Potomac Local News

  • Austin Wayne Wilson, a 24-year-old (Stafford) resident, was arrested for allegedly attacking a woman in a Spotsylvania convenience store bathroom early Saturday, police said.  The Free Lance–Star

  • Virginia Railway Express is upgrading the Manassas Park Station parking lot—paving will finish before winter with a ribbon-cutting planned for October 21—while it completed a long-awaited property transfer at Spotsylvania Station in July.
