- ➤ Roanoke College's survey showed that Virginia consumers recorded a score of 64.6 for economic outlook, the third-lowest since 2011, even though the rating slightly improved. - ➤ Fredericksburg school officials met with concerned parents on Wednesday to address long bus delays that have kept children from arriving at school on time and from getting home by up to three hours. - ➤ The City Planning Commission approved a special-use permit to adapt the 1956 Medical Arts Building at 2301 Fall Hill Ave. for adaptive reuse into 30 apartment units—29 one-bedroom and one two-bedroom—while the permit requires a bench at the FXBG GO! bus stop and prohibits short-term rentals; city council will review the proposal at a later date.
