  • Theresa and Ed Milner finally got answers after more than 20 years of doctor visits for their 29-year-old daughter Lacey, who was diagnosed with CFC syndrome—a rare condition affecting about 1,200 people worldwide.   • Caroline High School’s football team started a 4 win, 0 loss season for the first time since 1987 after beating Chancellor 34 to 14 in the Battlefield District opener—teams from James Monroe, Courtland, Spotsylvania, Stafford and Riverbend also secured district victories Friday night.  Fredericksburg Free Press
  • On Friday, September 26, 2025, Colonial Forge Eagles edged North Stafford Wolverines 27—26 in a close game where key plays defined the win.  Fredericksburg Free Press
