- ➤ The food bank is hosting weekly Drive-Thru — Walk-Up distributions for local residents who need food assistance and invites them to come once a week. Fredericksburg Free Press
- ➤ Six volunteers helped Rappahannock Education Farm in White Oak finish its first 800-plus-pound harvest day on Saturday—mostly collecting zucchini and tomatoes—which pushed total donations past 11,000 pounds to fight local hunger. - ➤ On Sept23, the City celebrated the early completion of Phase I of its AMI Project at the City Shop—replacing 8,752 water meters for better accuracy and efficiency in billing. - ➤ Fredericksburg voters will choose from eight candidates for four constitutional offices—Commonwealth’s Attorney, sheriff, commissioner of revenue and treasurer—in the November election.
