- ➤ Fredericksburg’s Black Arts Festival honored Clarence Todd’s Harambee 360 Theatre with a Friday show at the museum and a Sunday church service at Shiloh Baptist—new site—to remember Carole Hamm, even though bad weather cancelled many Saturday events. - ➤ University of Mary Washington faculty and staff shared their expert views on topics like corporate greenwashing, fairy tales, and sustainable farming on the With Good Reason radio program. - ➤ Stafford County Public Schools said new schools will open in August including Falls Run Elementary in Fredericksburg, Crow’s Nest Elementary, and Hartwood High—which will start without a senior class—to help ease overcrowding.
