- ➤ The University of Mary Washington will host fall Open Houses to give high school students a closer look at its Honors Program and STEM opportunities. - ➤ A man known for using costumes and satire was removed from a Spotsylvania County School Board meeting Monday night after using mocking language in discussing a child abuse case—officials said his remarks breached meeting decorum. Potomac Local News
- ➤ This week, road work will affect I-95 and many local roads with bridge washing, lane closures, and pavement marking — projects set for Fredericksburg, Caroline, Spotsylvania, and other counties. Officials said several key intersections and bridge repairs will continue on busy routes, with some work scheduled to finish in 2026 and later. Fredericksburg Free Press
