- ➤ Jerrilynn MacGregor of the Stafford County Historical Society explained at the VA250 event that Aquia Creek was once a busy trade route that moved tobacco and sandstone used in federal buildings and even hosted a bare-knuckle boxing match. - ➤ Fredericksburg City Public Schools will celebrate Unity Day on October 22 as students and staff wear orange to stand united against bullying — the event will promote kindness, acceptance and inclusion to create a safe school culture. Potomac Local News
