- ➤ Von Young of the Fredericksburg SPCA announced the Animal Rescue Festival is happening today with a Walk for the Animals starting at 9:30 a.m. at Hurkamp Park. The event will feature a free, family-friendly festival from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.—followed by an ARF-TER PAW-TY concert at the Fairgrounds from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Fredericksburg Free Press
