- ➤ Forty pear trees and ten blueberry bushes were planted this week at Rappahannock Education Farm in White Oak by volunteers from Enterprise to create a small orchard and berry patch. The new plants will grow into fruit-bearing trees in a few years — a project that supports the farm’s work to feed local neighbors. Fredericksburg Free Press
- ➤ Fredericksburg Parks and Recreation lit the Christmas Tree at Riverfront Park on November 15th—residents can enjoy the festive display throughout the holiday season. Potomac Local News
- ➤ Fredericksburg Main Street announced its 2025 holiday lineup featuring a Window Wonderland scavenger hunt running through Dec. 31—an event designed to boost downtown activity. The schedule also includes a Riverfront Park Ice Rink opening on Nov. 28 and an Elf on the Shelf adventure beginning on Nov. 29, with extended parking available until Jan. 11. Potomac Local News

- ➤ Colonial Forge's Eagles (10-1) won 35-0 over Gar-Field on Friday night in the Region 6B playoffs as quarterback Brock Brimhall threw three touchdowns and ran for another. North Stafford beat Independence 52-14, Brentsville defeated James Monroe 48-12, and Louisa edged Caroline 42-7; Colonial Forge will host Woodbridge next Friday. Fredericksburg Free Press
