- ➤ Potomac Local News will live stream the Fredericksburg Christmas Parade from downtown on Saturday, December 6 at 5:30 p.m. — city officials warn that the rain-or-shine event with an 'Around the World' theme will lead to street closures beginning at 2 p.m. and advise drivers to plan ahead for possible towing. - ➤ The Salvation Army reported that over 900 families have received holiday help as volunteers work in Toyland ahead of the Angel Tree deadline next Monday. Captain Ashley Mumford said the agency urgently needs clothing for infant girls ages 0 to 24 months and donations of toys, clothing or money may be dropped off at 2014-C Lafayette Blvd & support local families. - ➤ Fredericksburg Nationals announced that for the 2026 season Tuesday-Saturday games will start at 6:35 p.m. except on Education Days and Sunday games, other than on Opening Weekend, will begin at 1:35 p.m.—the season opens on April 3 with a three-game series against the Augusta GreenJackets at Virginia Credit Union Stadium.
