- ➤ Fredericksburg Winter Restaurant Week began Friday, Jan. 16 and will run until Sunday, Jan. 25 in Fredericksburg. - ➤ Stafford County leaders are expected to approve incentive agreements that will return up to $500K in meals tax revenue to Olive Garden & LongHorn for new locations in the county. Potomac Local News
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Fredericksburg Regional Transit (FXBGO!) announced that larger buses will join its fleet soon to better serve more riders. Officials said the expansion is part of ongoing improvements in local transit service. The Free Lance–Star
- ➤ Stafford County residents will provide feedback on the proposed Kraken Loop transmission line at a public listening session on Thursday, Jan. 29 at Brooke Point High School, 1700 Courthouse Road, featuring presentations at 6:30 and 8 p.m. (County officials will use input to guide project plans).
