ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Dominion Energy is proposing to raise residential utility rates by an extra $10.51 a month starting in January 2026 and January 2027 while also increasing the fuel rate to $10.92—a proposal now under review by the State Corporation Commission. The plan will add a new rate class for data centers that use more than 25 megawatts to ensure these high-energy users pay a fair share for expanding power infrastructure. Fredericksburg Free Press
